Daily thread - 27/06/07 - a historic day

Yes - it's my son's birthday. He's 30 I really can't understand that, when I'm about 35
Also, 'regime change' at 10 Downing Street. We'll see what that brings. I gave up being optimistic about politics a long time ago
Well, it's a nice day at the mo. Have a load of washing on and intend to get to the allotment to salvage whatever is ready.
Have a nice day and stay safe everyone

Feeling much better today, face still tender but the awful woosiness has all but passed. Weather here is dry at present but there are ominous clouds gathering.

Sebastian now has a 3rd tooth and is a much happier bunny for it . . . he's all of a sudden become a very contented baby, crawling and playing and interacting beautifully

Happy birthday DM Junior, I remember being mortified when I hit 30 . . . seems such a long time ago now

Re: Daily thread - 27/06/07 - a historic day

Even now, with 40 the new 30 and 60 the new 50 etc, there is something about 30 isn't there? You're just not young any more, no matter how you try! I was very mis at becoming 30 ..... something to do with having two under 5s, not working, etc etc. 40 and 50 were a breeze in comparison and I am actively looking forward to 60. Will it be a cruise, the Carribean, Aus? Who knows?

Congratulations Sebastian on tooth number 3! Blimmin teeth - a pain getting them and a pain maintaining them, eh Mummy?

Clouds are gathering here too. I've put the washing out and it's blowing; I'm not risking the allotment yet ......

Morning all! Commiserations to your son DM lol! I was fine about turning 30, right up until the actual day itself and then I suddenly realised I was 30!!!. Started off quite bright this morning but turning very dull and gloomyat the moment, I give it another 1/2 hour at the most before the rain starts! Nothing planned for today, finally getting some of that houseork done lol, just taken a 5 min break to pop on here. Have a good day all!

Morning all, lovely sunny but windy day here today, A welcome break from all the atrocious weather of late! Not much planned. Off out to the shops later and general tidying round.

DM - Happy 30th Birthday to your son! I had no problem hitting 30 whatsoever, hitting 40 was another matter completely

Hope everyone has a lovely day
