Re: how to tell the difference?

No, it's not as easy as that Jac All kittens are born quite fluffy with their baby kitten fur and it is quite hard to tell!!! With Lily (being semi-long-haired) and William (being short haired) I had a hell of a time trying to tell what the kittens were

Interesting, I didn't know that! So, at what age does the adult coat length become noticeable?

I've only ever had one long-haired cat and to be honest, as a young kitten she seemed no different from our other cats when they were kittens, except that she had very hairy feet underneath! Does that sound daft?

Re: how to tell the difference?

Yeah Im sorta curious too. The daddy to the kittens is a Main Coon so he has the medium hair (longer on the tail and neck but pretty short elsewhere and mom is short haired. Hmmmm...Im curious what they are gonna be.
