Mixed up amaryllis !

I put them outside for the Summer so they'll rebloom in the Winter...well, just as it did last year, one of them is getting ready to bloom now! They're only supposed to bloom in Winter...???

It's only one bud stalk instead of the usual two, but I'm not complaining..a nice bonus! I'll tak a pic when it blooms.

Well done DM, I have tried to get mine to bloom in summer, but never had any success.....Looking forward to seeing the flower when it opens..

I've got so many I never remember which is which till they bloom, but think this is the new yellow one I got in December.... we'll see ......

I did lastyear, but they did not come to anything, They did however bloom again at christmas..

Maybe it's our climate here; very long warm humid Summers. I think they originally came from South Africa, not sure. Anyhow, they do rebloom for me at Christmas, and this is the second year I've gotten Summer bloom also.

You are probably right DM its never that warm up here...
