Its a mistle thrush Mags, she was collecting worms for her babys....took that through a window, surprised how well it has come out.

I used to see many thrushes at one time and now I'm sad to think that that is one of our disappearing birds..

It;s very sad; the same here. I don't know if it's global warming, destruction of environment or a combination of things, but birds that were common when I was a child are rarely seen now...I can't remember when I last saw a wood thrush!
