Fran, I can remember in our childhood days, the children were always included with the adults in quizes....... one of my favourites was "Country, County, Town" etc. Basically everyone is given a piece of paper with a list of words on it such as ....... Country, County, Town, River, Mountain, Animal, Bird, Insect, Reptile, Boys name, Girls name .......and any other titles you can think of. A letter is chosen and everyone must try to put an answer against as many words on the list as possible starting with that letter......the winner is the person who has written down the most answers. Oh, and give them a time limit, say 5 - 10 mins to answer the questions.Check how many each person has and the winner can have a small prizeThen pick another letter and play again Don't forget to have plenty of pencils or pens ready! Quite simple but keeps them occupied! |
