....into English. As we got married in the Dominican Republic, it's in Spanish. I've managed all these years without needing it translating but for some reason the Passport Office insist that to change my passport from my previous surname to my current surname the Marriage cert has to be in English
I phoned a couple of companies up and it's going to cost me £47, one company quoted me £62

I wouldn't mind but I speak enough Spanish myself to be able to translate it!

but the translation has to bear the translators official stamp

then the Pasport Office will kindly charge me the price of a new Passport just to change my name when my current one still has a few years on it!!
You don't think of all these little 'extra' costs when you book a holiday do you? The extras are going to cost more than the holiday at this rate
