Daily Thread / Friday

Morning all, dull and cloudy here right now. I have to go up to the farm where we keep the horses later this morning. The farmer needs help with the horses whilst he sorts out a new herd of cows, so I hope the rain holds off. It's Tom's last day at school today but Em still has another week to go. Do so wish they'd bring all the holidays inline

Hope you all have a great day

Morning all

West Kent is under severe weather warning over the next couple of days.... hopefully it wont be as bad as we have seen anywhere in the country, but expect to see a lot of torrential rain....

and I dont own an umbrella!!!!

Waiting for the kids to get ready so I can take them to school for Emma and Sean's last day of work experience. And then off to work myself.

Re: Daily Thread / Friday

It's pouring a treat here . . . storms too!! The little roads up at the office here are 2/3 impassable; ok for me as I have the SUV, but I suspect OH will have to leave his sports car here as I don't think he'll be able to get through. It's so dark it looks like 3pm on a winter's night . . . not sure how long the power will hold out either as being on the top of a hill it tends to pop out very frequently

Sebastian is settled in his new nursery for the morning, he seemed to be really enjoying himself - hopefully he'll still be fine once he realises I'm not there!

Must get on and get some work done whilst I can

Morning all.
It really feels like I haven't been to bed! The weather is overcast and drizzle hanging about the air.
Doing the monthly trolley dash today.
Fran, our kids have been on there school hols for three weeks now. It's rained nearly every day
Got quite a bit to do about the house but that's about it.
Both cats joined me in bed this morning after Derek went to work. That seam's to be the ritual now.
Have a great day every one

Horrible, horrible morning here, absolutely pouring with rain with thunder and lightning. You could swim on our lawn, I swear you could!

I was going to go to the hospital today for a bloodtest but I'll leave it till Monday - I'm not driving anywhere in this weather. Think I'll just hang around here for a while then potter with some housework.

Hope nobody has any flash floods today, stay safe everyone.

I really hope everyone with rain stays safe. sounds like if you dont have to go out stay home.
I'm off now. It's nearly impossible to type with two cats purring and wanting to be cuddled. I have one at each side of me
Right off and get something done now. Take care and stay safe.

Re: Daily Thread / Friday

Morning all........... atrocious weather here in the south west and the Met Office have issued warnings of flash floods in this area for today and tomorrow...
My neighbour and her family are off to Turkey for their holiday later this afternoon......temperatures have been 38-40 degrees there lately so I think they are in for a bit of a shock after this!

Have a good day and try to keep dry everyone!
