I have foiled the squirrel!!


So far! As this tomato was beginning to ripen I wrapped it in part of the plastic sleeve the newspaper comes in...wasn't sure if it would work, but worth a try...and it did! It's safely in the house and I shall have it at lunch tomorrow!! Ta da!!!

lol @ Jac! If I had an allotment or even a large garden I wouldn't begrudge the odd tomato being stolen, but when you only have room for three plants, every one is precious! So far, 4 have ripened and it's tied...two for him, two for me...and that is not a good ratio........
