bald patches

can anyone help. my cat has just got his second bald patch. it's only small first one was under his chin i bathed it in salt water til it went as he couldn't reach it to clean it and the second weeks later is on the back of his neck with a small scab on it. I'm doing the same but wondering what it is. he wears a harness to go out but don't think it's that and I flea him with drops reguarly and he doesn't have fleas any clues??

It sounds as though he's scratching as the patch has a scab on it. Something seems to have irritated him. One of my old cats, Midge, was very sensitive to fleas and used to scratch her fur out, are you sure he couldn't possibly have a couple of fleas?

I have checked him and there isn't even any eggs

Might be worth a trip to the vet; possibly some sort of allergy or contact dermatitis...???/

You cat may be stressed out, as well, when I moved homes my one cat MuTan got very stressed and began to pull his own hair out. This isn't very uncommon for a cat to do, has there been any recent changes in your cat's regime?
