Do you also have hose pipe bans and restrictions on the useage of water during these times too?

That's very concerning Eileen. Is each household encouraged to 'do it's bit' for water conservation??

Here they had to enforce hosepipe bans last year, but both 2003 and 2006 were exceptionally hot and dry; trust me to choose exactly those two summers to be heavily pregnant LOL!!

Indeed we do! It hasn't gotten to that point yet here in the City, but a lot of the smaller towns have banned car washing, lawn watering and hosing down driveways. When the last drought got so bad I'd seen the restrictions coming and stockpiled water in gallon jugs to keep things from dying in the garden! Hope we don't get to that point, but I've still got all those jugs in the basement...
