Odd pictures

The mushrooms have been coming up all over since the recent rains...this huge one is in the block next to me ,,..it looks as if it should have a frog sitting on it.......

And I've been mentioning the lovely local peaches at the market lately, and on a silly impulse took this pic before I ate it...the can is to show the size....

Not me! I have a mushroom handbook, but am too cautious to rely on it: some of the poisonous ones look ,like the edible ones! I prefer the safety of the ones at the market! Yes, oddly enough with the lack of rain for so long the peaches have done well,,,they really are large this year, and very juicy!

I would never be able to tell a mushroom from a toadstool ...

You could share that peach with a few of us Eileen and we'd all be able to have a slice!

Re: Odd pictures

It made a bowlful of slices! They're so juicy it's too messy to eat out of hand, I always slice them,,,wish I could have shared!
