Daily Thread / ThursdayMorning all, lovely sunny day here again. I have a busy day today. I have a friend to visit later this morning, one to visit this afternoon and then have to get Em to a birthday party at tea time. I've also been asked to help take part in a project for someone who is in their final year at uni doing an animal behavioural degree. I have to do a series of play sessions with 6 of my cats individually and record the results in a questionnaire, so that should be interesting! Have a good day all

That sounds an interesting day Fran. I'm sure you'll tell us about the cat-play session. I'm doing nowt out of the ordinary. Market, gardening etc. My OH has gone off to a funeral - a young man only in his fifties  . The mourners have been asked to wear red rose buttonholes (England rugby and all that). We went off to get same yesterday afternoon & the florist gave a big smile when OH asked for a single red rose but the smile turned upside down when I appeared from behind OH to say - not a romantic one, a sad one for a funeral. Isn't it a shame men get dressed up so rarely now? They look nice when they do the smart thing.Well, I hope everyone enjoys their day. |

Overcast here. Eva is screaming to get out. Gonna do some house work and clean animals litter boxes and hamster tank. Then gonna settle down to do some study. This afternoon I am off out to see the dogs, Suzy and Tali. Going to attempt to get Tali to walk on a leed with out pulling me off my feet  . Then its home to do some more study since I havent done much over the last few days Have a great day every one xxx |

Afternoon all! Overcast here but warm. Went into town this morning, had some business to attend to in the Building Society, bought a couple of tops in M & S who had a 70% off sale on. Then went for morning coffee but resisted the delicious looking cakes!  Hope the weather will be good tomorrow as we plan to take Katie and Jamie to the zoo and have a picnic...... their last treat out before they go back to school next week... |

Another beautiful sunny day here, warm and low humidity: supposed to be like this thru the long weekend - Labor Day holiday Monday. Just the usual market trip: got a bag of potting soil as the yellow amaryllis needs repotting; it's made 3 offshoot bulbs, so now I'll have a total of 5 of them...should be lovely this winter if the small ones bloom! Fran: sounds like a fun project! Erin: did you ever get the spider? Enjoy the rest of the day, all! |
