Daily thread - FridayWhere is everyone today? Just Carole and me here, twiddling our thumbs  It's a nice morning but it's easy to see that September starts tomorrow - there's a nip in the air in the evenings and the mornings are considerably darker than a couple of weeks ago.Am off to the allotment later this morning - thank goodness it is cropping quite well now, to make some amends for the terrible June and July. Curry tonight - a sort-of celebration of my OH being in his job exactly 10 years. So, 10 years since Diana died too. (I've told the story before about the job/the news etc etc.) Have a good day everybody

Morning all  Just had a great walk with Ruby at a place called Ashton Court in Bristol. Just us and a couple of greyhounds there who I think thought Ruby was a rabbit and chased her until she could run no more and flopped down and gave in  I've now got 1 dog sat on my feet determined its her turn next and Harvey racing around dragging his lead and collar with him. Have a god Friday all |

Morning all. Ive got four pages to catch up on! and its only been a couple of days. Ive been suffering side effects from the no smoking tablets I'm taking. Two weeks today since I had a ciggy  . Not got much planned for today as the kids get a half day from school. Well It's me, you and Catsey  . Have a good Friday everyone. |

Funny I should have just mentioned OH's 10 years in his job (coinciding exactly with Diana's death). Postman brought a letter from the big boss with a promise of £150 of 'leisure vouchers', a celebration dinner in January and 6 additional days of annual leave per anum, together with a nice note of thanks. hey hey, how about that? |

Afternoon, all, another sunny coolish day here; Monday is the Labor Day holiday and the unofficial end of Summer...  ; the darkness is drawing in really early now, I hate it. Ah well.....Nothing to report: did the usual market run, cats are the same. Been pricing Feliways and going to order tonight. Hope it will calm Leia's stress a bit.... Been to the shops with the children after working in the morning. Got a few bits for them. Football boots for Sean and a cheapy canvass wardrobe for Emma as her drawers have been broken for months and her clothes are all over her room  She has no excuse now to have an untidy room I have never known a child so messy |
