What beautiful colorful pics, Mags! That must be a really nice zoo...was that a tree fuchsia in the fifth pic? Loved the monkey puzzle tree and the red-hot-poker plant! (Not sure how to spell Knopfhia?)

Yes it was Eileen..

It is a lovely zoo, I'm pleased to say they no longer keep many of the larger animals there anymore. The zoo does have a couple of gorillas and their baby but they are on a fairly big island with plenty of trees, ropes and other things to amuse themselves with. There are also a pair of lions but again they have quite a big enclosure.

The gardens are always beautiful and they always put a lot of work into their dispalys..
