Daily thread - Saturday - Pinch, punch, first of the month

Everybody is late again - but it is Saturday so I guess it's OK.
It's September people! I do believe I saw something about 100 shopping days till christmas a day or two ago - what a thought.
Well, I'm off to town - saw that Boots are selling 2 for 1 on some sun creams, so I'd better go and get a bargain for my holiday. Have you noticed their skincare voucher promotion running at the mo? Spend £5 or more and you get a £5 voucher for several skincare ranges. And you can just spend/redeem that, don't have to use it as part payment. Not a bad deal.

PS Fran how did your 'behaviour study' session go? Meant to ask you yesterday. Perhaps when you've time you could put a post in the behaviour section. I'm sure it was interesting.

Its been raining here!!!!!Typical,its been dry all week and decides to rain on the day of the wedding,it has stopped now though so Im hopping it will stay away.
Nothing planned for this morning,the wedding is a late one 4pm so Im here untill about 1 then im off.
Im really excited now

Morning DM, morning all. Nice bright day but a little clouded over at present. Not much planned. I think Kay is dropping in later, so that'll be nice to see her again

DM - I didn't get around to doing it yesterday so must try to do it today. Yes, I'll post all about it when I've done. It's all to do with how play activities differ between indoor and outdoor cats. She needs a broad range of cat owners to do the tests, moggies, kittens, adults, pedigrees, so she can get a true representation....Actually, Jennifer needs many more cat owners willing to do the tests for her. So if anybody is interested in taking part. (It's nothing too complicated, just a few tests with a couple of toys, it's all very well explained and easy to record) let me know and I'll organise getting a test to you and she encloses a stamped addressed envelope for the return of the test and you get to keep the toys!

I don't think it could as you need the toys and I guess that all cats undertaking the test must use exactly the same toys. I'll find out though...

I'm off in a wee bit to the local park, that way Ceilidh can burn off some energy (and I wont have to kill her ).

Another beautiful sunny day, although we're once again in need of rain! Did the usual library run, watered the container plants and have nothing special,planned. Almost no traffic today: many people are out of town for the last long holiday weekend of Summer. Enjoy the afternoon, all!
