Oh how sad. I hope the cat and it's owner are reunited. However there is always the chance that the cat got shut into a van and has travelled quite a distance and therefore no amount of local advertising will make any difference. Good luck - he sounds lovely. |

I thought it might have got shut in a van or something, hence I thought I'd post it here. There doesn't seem to be a dedicated site for lost and found cats like there is for dogs. Ialways check out www.doglost.co.uk or Missing Pets Bureau if we find a dog but I can't find anything similiar for cats. Regards Polly |

I guess you've checked the obvious; microchips and the like? Is there not a national lost-cat register? I thought there was. Remember something mentioned by my CP colleagues in the dim, distant past. Have you looked at these? www.nationalpetregister.org www.missingpetsbureau.com www.petmatch.co.uk www.petcentral.co.uk |

It very well could have stowed away in a van: we recently had a cat here who did in a van from the midwest and showed up here...hungry and thirsty after 3 days, but had been microchipped so was reunited with the owners......hope your cat will be as lucky...... |
