Morning all, nice bright day here. Off to the vets later this morning as Claude and Clooney are going for their boosters. Not much else planned.

Hope you all have a lovely day

Re: Daily Thread / Wednesday

Hi Fran, hi everybody. Well, after a slow start (we didn't wake up till 7.30 ) we're sorted out and ready for the day. I've got my sandwich made and wrapped ready for a full day on the allotment. (I think yesterday's hard work may have contributed to my long sleep! ). Another cricket match on the radio so I'll listen to that as I work and be in demi-heaven. The forecast is dry until the middle of next week, which suits me fine for working.
Have nothing more interesting to report but I hope everyone has a good day.

Re: Daily Thread / Wednesday

Dominik's last day of 'freedom' today so I'm going to try and take him to the cinema to see some film about a surfing penguin The things we do for kids eh . . .

Came home from dropping Sebi at nursery to a stinking kitchen; Fifi has a very runny bottom . . . yuk. She's now in the garden cleaning up. Need to go an empty that litter tray!

Need to do some ironing today and the weather is looking glorious, very warm already so may do it in the garden

Morning all.
Ive done something to my back so I'm talking to you all from bed. Thank goodness Derek's off today as there is no way I could have taken Ceilidh to school. Cant even get dressed .
I hate it when this happens .

So I guess I have no plans for today . Oh well I'll just have to stay here

Oh Yola, Ceilidh saw Surfs Up and loved it.

Re: Daily Thread / Wednesday

The film is no longer showing - only at weekends ! Good isn't it, even though most schools went back yesterday, there are still some children off - but they've taken all the kids' films off!

Dominik's quite upset so I will get him a Finding Nemo or Happy Feet DVD instead.

Re: Daily Thread / Wednesday

Sunny warm late Summer weather continues; still no needed rain! My usual unexciting day: market run and more work in the garden. No more vermin, thank the Lord; Leia's not lurking in the kitchen and is back to napping on the porch most of the day. Enjoy the afternoon, all!
