Well it's bright but cold here today.
I have alot to do. Four birthday pressies to buy. Mum to entertain and get ready to go out at 6pm

I applied for a job this morning

It's working from home (ideal) basically a taxi controller. Done that before (years ago) but it's hooked up to the internet. Not sure about all the in's and out's but hopefully they will call back. It's something I can do and work from home Ideal. Keep your paws crossed.

Kazz Good luck with the scan this morning.

OH and Yes Ceilidh did go to school with pants on today.

Another dull murky day here ... I'm sure we're supposed to see the sun sometime this week

Morning all, its beautiful here today, a real autumn day....Usual daily tasks to do, then I think a nice long walk with the dogs....

afternoon all,
Freezing here again.
Not a happy chicken at the moment,worked a night last night (which was the 5th night in a row),working again tonight and was woken up at 11.30

will have to try and get some more sleep at some point!!

Fine drizzle all day here so far

Just been to see a house out near Newbury, very nice- better than expected and quite cheap too! Still, it's early days in the great new house hunt

Having a bit of an up and downer with the cleaner. She seems to think it's OK to miss corners and basically considers that standard clean (i.e., all surfaces dusted, all floors mopped and vacuumed) to be a spring clean

Looks like we're not going to agree on that one!

Just about to have a late lunch of quorn cottage pie and cauliflower cheese (microwave food, but actually not too high in fat).

Jac: fingers crossed for the job!! Kazz: hope all went well today!Chilly morning but sun's out now and warmed up to 64F; should be a nice afternoon.
Drought continues, no rain in sight; a lot of the suburban locations have instituted water restrictions! We're still OK in the City, but everything is horribly dry; I've started hoarding water in gallon jugs for the garden in case we do get restrictions...can always use it if the drought ever breaks!
