Cat Beds

Ok you have all seem poor deprived Caspurr in his bed I went to P@H yesterday to buy another. I was really disapointed at the selection they had. You would be lucky if he got 3 months out of them as they weren't much bigger than the one he uses.
Then I had a brain storm, I would get him and Abi a dog bed. The prices are quite steep though. Any ideas?

Re: Cat Beds

I can't stand the P@H range of beds Jac, i always find they don't last very long..and with having multiple cats who like snoozing together, they aren't always practical. I think ours have a variety tbh...there more cat beds in this house then a pet shop, we have the usual radiator cradles, hooded beds, a fancy round whicker one which doubles up as a carrying basket, and a large plastic dog bed i the lounge which all the moggies AND the dogs share.
I think a breed like ragdolls, being bloomin huge! Would probably be better off with something like that? Otherwise you may just be constantly throwing money away on them

Re: Cat Beds

A neighbor who was moving gave me a lovely dog bed; it would have held the three I had at the time just beautifully; however, they, of course, wouldn't use it! I''d go for a dog bed if I were you, Jac.

Re: Cat Beds

No way any of mine have ever taken to a cat bed. Rosie has short term favourite sleeping spots like: top of the wicker linnen basket. Top step of the stairs. Beside the toilet and now it is mostly on the new sheepskin rug at the side of my bed, which in truth I bought knowing she would love it.

Little Alfie always sleeps on the spare bed which has a faux fur thrown on it. That was where he first stayed when he was a small kitten.

When all else fails there is always my bed! That is reserved for when it gets really cold and then I have all three of them (Holly dog as well)

Re: Cat Beds

Sounds a brilliant idea the dog bed. Try e-bay or some of the online pet shops.
