Daily Thread / Thursday

Morning all, dry, bright day here again. Not sure what today holds other than the usual housework and kitten watching

Hope you all have a great day

Re: Daily Thread / Thursday

It's a cold one here. One disadvantage of living in the back end of nowhere is that they don't grit the roads, so I have a precarious 3 miles slippery downhill drive on a narrow windy lane until I get to the nice gritted road. Late for work this morning as a result!

Tinker - that's the main reason for me loving the town/city; you get street lights, gritters and pavements!!!

Today it is gloriously bright and sunny and also icy! I love this weather, everything looks so pretty without the outright inconvenience of snow

In the office again today. Need to get some timetables for trains to Brum - I've done Reading > NEC before on Virgin Trains so hoping that it'll be (a) a direct train and (b) not too expensive!

OH got on really well with the kitchen last night, tonight he'll be replastering some of the dodgy bits and painting the walls - it's looking lovely

Morning all
All I can report this morning is I got up . Derek took Ceilidh to school and left me sleeping. I only woke up a littlw while ago . Got to pack for tomorrow. Do some ironing and that's about it.
Fran I said it before but I wouldn't get anything done exept kitten watching

Yola good luck with the train. I got stung more than double my fair for Ceilidh as they classed it a last minute booking! Over £100 but we wont tell OH

Re: Daily Thread / Thursday

Brrrrr..... it was a very crisp and frosty morning here and now we have a clear sky and sunshine!

Have been to Tesco for the trolley dash but had trouble finding everything...... they have been expanding the store and refitting at the same time.. nothing is in it's usual place and they haven't got round to putting any signs up either! Shopping this morning was a right pain in the neck!!

Fran - what better excuse can you have for getting out of housework!!

Tinker - hope you managed to get to work safely..

Yola - hope you managed to book your train tickets on...

Alex - how annoying that woman failed to turn up to collect the kitten ..... the least she could have done was to phone you...

Afternoon. Chilly isn't it.
Fran - lovely babies!!!! How will you ever get anything done? I'd be gazing at them all day long.
Yola - hope the house move is progressing well
Kazz - be healthy
Everyone - keep warm, be happy.
I'm stepping back from Catsey for a while. Take care x

Re: Daily Thread / Thursday

Afternoon, and a chilly one here indeed! The promised cold front came thru with a vengance; it was still 17 when I was watching the 11 pm news last night; this morning it's 5~! With a cold rain and lots of wind! No market, staying indoors. Onyx came, rain and all, for her lunch! I must have been more tired than I thought after yesterday, woke up at the usual time, knew I didn't have to go out so rolled over for a few more winks and woke up at almost 10 am!!!

Mags: don't you hate it when they reorganize the supermarket like that?! Safeway does it often and I can never find anything!!!
Fran: wish I were kitten-watching with you!
Enjoy the day .......

Have to tell you all I feel really really poorly. Managed to get through work today but I am not well. Back on taking my "severe pain killer tablets"......
