Sunday daily

Hello. John is off fishing today, well deserved as he's been working hard the last few days at home doing all the housework / washing / shopping & cats whilst I've been at work & at the supreme. the girls each had a friend sleep over last night, so I have 4 girls here. We are also looking after a black labrador & we have Titch in the house too, so we seem to be full of lodgers today.
kitty cat is coming to collect Jack the kitten today. So I just have one kitten needing a home & 4 adults. Another lady is coming today to view the cats & she is open minded about what cat she'd like to have, which is always nice... Wonder whos lucky day it will be today. I'd like Jim to find a home as he is getting bored here now.
I need to think about Christmas shopping, but I have no enthusiasm to get going & make a start. I'm usually fairly organised by now, but haven't given it a thought yet. Maybe internet shopping is the way to go this year.
the rest of today I will be doing jobs around the house & I need to tidy up the shed where all my cat stuff is stored, it's a right mess!
Might get some photos of everyone later & if I post some Titch photos you can tell me if she looks better.
Have a nice day.

Re: Sunday daily

Morning Smudgley, sounds like you have a houseful!!
Wet and miserable here this morning Haven't slept much due to nursing the poorly kitten during the night. Em had a friend stop over last night, they were late to sleep! Hubby is working today, doubt I'll be doing much except looking after poorly baby.

Hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday

Still feeling sick. Not sure about the flu-jab theory now as poor Sebi was also incredibly sick during the night . . . poor babe

Awaiting house viewers scheduled for 10:30, then OH's kids and grandson are coming over for sunday lunch - guess who won't be eating any of the lovely roast dinner . . . yup, me

Re: Sunday daily

Afternoon all
Just flew in . I'm exausted . Had a really good weekend though and not sure where the time went.
Came home to a cold house. Derek is an early and forgot to put the heating on. Never mind it wont take long to warm up.
Cats seem fine but are showing alot of interest in my case. I guess they can smell Erins lot .

Fran I'm really sorry to hear one of the babies is unwell and will have every thing crossed here that she gets well.

Yola I hope you begin to feel a bit better soon.

Now I'm off to make sure you all were good while I was away.

Re: Sunday daily

Hi, ladies! Glad all the Supreme people are back on, missed you yesterday and so wish I could have been there.
Sunny and not as chilly this morning, 9; but some rain predicted later. We're still below on rain for the year. Have done the marketing and planning a lazy afternoon with the papers and crossword.

Leia caught a third mouse yesterday, but didn't kill this one; dropped it on the living room floor and it fled under the love seat! She went after it, but it dashed out, zipped thru the hall to the kitchen with Leia in hot pursuit, but it vanished in the kitchen and she's been looking for it ever since! I forgot how fast mice are! Anyone remember the cartoon mouse, Speedy Gonzalez??? I think that's who this one was...

Jac: looking forward to pics!
Yola: shame you have to pass on that lovely sounding dinner....get well!
Fran:
fingers still crossed for the poorly kitten.....

Re: Sunday daily

a bit late in the day but i suppose better late than never...
a bit overcast today..i was exhausted..didn't sleep till 8am and just woke up at 4pm..yesterday i got up and cleaned the house as usual but it was pretty bad cuz my OH is home for the weekend and he leaves things everywhere..after a few hours of cleaning, i felt satisfied and then he decided to rearrange the house...we made some adjustments to kuan yin's room...we don't have much spending money but have lots of odd things and i would say it's a bit of an alternative twist on a cat room..let's just say there are lots of high places, things to climb or hide in..but none of this stuff you would buy at a pet store...LOL...she seems to love it though...then i cleaned the house AGAIN for the second time that night...OH was grumpy so i left him alone to brew and eventually got to sleep...woke up now to give kuan yin breakfast and make my coffee and YEP, THE HOUSE IS A WRECK AGAIN. sigh...i'm gonna need a pot of coffee for this...
hope everyone has a great day!

Re: Sunday daily

Awww, cats adore high places and things to climb on; I'd say Kuan Yin is lucky to have a room imaginatively furnished like that! Bet she loves it, more pics? We have had field mice come in; Leia has caught 4 so far; she's turned into a real mouser! Wish you lived closer the next time you feel a cleaning spell coming on...
