I think that maple looks terrific! I wish I had a tree like that in my garden. It must be amazing in a non-drought year for you to describe it as less vivid than usual this year. What a lovely sight! |

That is totaly stunning Eileen. How come your "Autumn /fall" is so much later than ours, tree's here have lost their leaves well pretty much all now. |

Yes, our trees here on the south coast are almost bare too. Here are 2 pix I took of trees at Kew Gardens on 7th November. I think it was the day before that nasty storm in Scotland that caused the panic about the storm surge along the east coast of England.   |
