Mum was a stray when she arrived at RSPCA, so wouldn't have been used to people at the time. However she is now really friendly and was purring her head off when I gave her a cuddle and lots of fuss today. The kittens are timid, but they have been brought up in kennels so far rather than a home, so although they do get handled I am sure it isn't as much as they would be in a home. I am not worried though as timid cats seem to like me, all they will need is patience. We got Tinker as a barely handled 9 year old, she hid on a shelf for 3 weeks when we got her home. She now demands cuddles at all times. I am not sure when they will come home yet, the lady at the kennels wants to check their ages first and arrange their first jabs, don't think it will be more than a couple of weeks though ![]() |
