Daily~SaturdayMorning all My little angel (Abi) woke me at 8.30 this morning yowling for her breakfast. Poor baby was obviously starved as she waited a whole hour before screaming her face off. Yesterday I took Ceilidh to visit Santa in his grotto. Ha no flies on that one. When we left she said that wasn't the real Santa mum, I take it it was one of his helpers. Is that why he was pretending to be fat? He had a pillow up his suit.  Nothing much on the cards for today. A visit to P@H and that's about it. Fran, I hope Mildred is settled now she's back home.

Off to get my nails done soon and try to find a party frock for our co. Christmas do that I can also use for our Christmas in the Cotswolds! I hate clothes shopping 'to order' I'd much rather mooch and see what comes my way but, hey - it's an excuse for a new party dress  OH is going to take the boys to the park if the rain holds off. It's frosty and cold at the moment but showers are predicted. |

Morning Jac,Morning all, I really didnt want to get up today,I was just having a yummy dream about Cadburys Dairy Milk Bubbles Chocolate,I had one of those massive bars,I was just about to start eating it when I got woken by Milo and Tink reminding me its breakfast time Anyway Im up now and not happy about it,its absolutely freezing and the heating didnt click to timer this morning Nothing much planned for today,think Im gonna have a lazy one. Morning all, freezing here, had another little cry reading all your lovely messages about Lucas. Dont know why this one has affected me as much as it has. Anyway, gonna have another fag and then get washed and dressed. The house looks like its been hit with a bomb, havent had much of a chance, nor the inclination, to do some real housework since last week end, so today is the day. A mass clean up is needed. Its freezing here too and snow and rain is forcast what a surprise Hope you all have a good day. Fran, am thinking about you and Mildred xxx |

Morning all Its cold here...but very nice now it was raining earlier. Back to work tomorrow so you'll have to cope without me. Taking the girls for a walk then may potter off to look at a "Arts Craft Fair thing" at Moseley they have a farmers markert there see what I can see in big prints. Have a good day all. Karen |

There was a very hard frost here last night so I really would have far preferred to stay under the duvet. I must have been really tired when I went to bed last night as I forgot to unset the alarm clock! As soon as it went off at 6.30 the cats started making a fuss for breakfast so I had to get up far earlier than normal for a Saturday. Still, I got a couple of washloads done before OH surfaced, then we had to sit down with lots of fresh coffee and the papers. Hope everyone has a good day! |

Cold frosty morning here earlier but it has now turned to rain... Cassie doesn't go outdoors much this time of the year so I am aware that she isn't getting much exercise. She hasn't been playing much with her tunnel either this past week so we had a play session with her laser mouse earlier............ she tired me out just watching her!  She may be 10+ but she can still whizz round the room at a fair speed! Nothing much planned for today except to make Xmas cake No. 2..... Enjoy your day everyone .......and stay warm! |

Afternoon! Supposedly we had a freeze last night: -3, but the impatiens haven't succumbed yet and they're usually the first to go, very frost-sensitive??? Is up to 3 now and not as windy; lots of sun. Did a quick market run and am planning a lazy day; nothing to report. Leia hasn't caught any more mice... Have a great day, all! Hi everybody, Just back from a very relaxing spa break with the OH, had a great time, just stayed over 1 night, we had the heat and ice experience  (sauna, steam room and ice cave!!!!) lunch, dinner and breakfast was included. |
