it's officially winter...

i woke up to it SNOWING outside...eek!
i do love the snow when i'm inside and the fireplace is on...but not when i have to go out and run errands in it!!
i still haven't mastered driving in it..guess it's time to learn whether i'm ready or not!
in the meantime, i'm turning on the fireplace and just gazing...

I don't like driving in snow either. We live three miles from the nearest gritted road, so I have to drive down a slippery hill in my little ford fiesta. I've ended up spinning it a couple of times

I'm the same as Anne, love the snow but never seem to get much more than a very light covering... I can't remember a time when we had a good fall that lasted for days and the children could build a snowman...

Is this the first snow, Tink? I hate the stuff myself; admit it's beautiful, but getting around is so difficult if you rely on public transportation and walk!

Any snow pics? Has Kuan Yin been out in it yet?

Re: it's officially winter...

If Kuan Yin is anything like mine she'll walk a bit into it shaking her paws and looking confused! I was camera-less when I had cats that ventured out a bit in it; and now Leia won't go outside at all...no chance of pics! How much are they forecasting?
