I never, ever do an overnight on a Sunday, but I can only do an overnight duty when John is off the next day so that he can get the girls to school. Today was our Christmas meal near work from 12-4 which is why I thought I'd put myself on duty tonight as I was here anyway & John's off tomorrow.

I wish I was home with him, but I'm just so glad the cats are ok.

My sister came round to have the girls whilst he & my Dad went to the vets (good job all our family live in the same village) so my sister washed the girls hair & got them ready for bed, both the girls were crying when I spoke to them earlier.

My sister also said that there was dribble all through the house & the lounge was full of slobber where Bluebell had been salivating. Must have been whilst John was sorting out the cat baskets & phoning the vet.

I think we all felt the shock of what happened Smudgley and the immense relief after, when you were able to tell us everyone was alright..

Just goes to show what a close 'family' atmosphere we have on here...((((hugs))))
