What been going on with me

Hi
I hope it is OK to put this here. But please do move it if it is in the wrong place.
I thought as I have been off the computer for a week or so that I would update you on what has been going on here.

Buster and Tilly are fine. Although buster is still wheezing his inhaler seems to be helping him out.

My back is much better although it is still very sore. I went to see a pain clinic yesterday and they were very helpful and have several things that could help me. They are also going to sedate me and put some local aneastitic (sp) in my back to see which bit is causing all the pain.

My parent are now the proud owner of Trevor. Who is a gorgeous feral cat. He is male, black and white and about 2 years old. He has also a bit boss eyed. He is very nervous but I will try and get a photo of him if I can to show you.

The lady who brought him round is also considering me for fostering cats which will be great. I will keep you posted and hopefully I can help them out. The lady will get back to me when she has had a think about it. The cats are probably going to be in crates in a 8' x10' shed as that way I can help more cats. whilst the same space would only accomodate 2 pens with runs. But either way is fine by me.

I have been away from the computer as it broke last week and this is a new one I am using now. But it is only temporary as there was a mistake with the programes they loaded on it is going to be swapped over some time this week.

My house has been decorated as well so it is looking fabulous. when my computer is completely sorted out I will post some before and after photos.

that about it. Hope every one is OK and hello to all the new members.

Sally

Re: What been going on with me

Hello Sally, lovely to see you back. Looks like good news on many fronts, especially the back pain. Excellent about Trevor, it's always good to hear of a stray that find a forever home. Pictures of him would be lovely, he sounds a darling

I'm no expert, but is it OK to keep cats in crates long-term? I know at our CP branch the cats are either housed in individual pens with feeding/sleeping/toiletting shelves and their own run area or they are in spare rooms in peoples' houses. Crates just sounds a bit restricting to me.

Hopefully once your PC is switched over you'll be back for good . . . with no more absenteeism

Hello Sally, it's good to see you again..

Thanks for the update on everything ......... I'm pleased your back is feeling easier too.

Looking forward to seeing some pics of Trevor, it was so kind of your parents to take him in and I'm sure that in time, when he is more settled, Trevor will reward them for their kindness.

I hope your computer will be sorted soon!

Welcome back, Sally! Missed you. Glad you're getting some help with the pain; hope it works out well. Lucky Trevor, a forever home! I wondered, as Yola did, about the crates being confining...?? I would go mad without my computer!!
