Releived its all overSome of you may remember that in February Graham was arrested and charged with Breach of the peace, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. I couldnt beleive it at the time it was all happening. Anyway we submitted a list of complaints against the police for the unlawful arrest, their heavy handedness and many other health and safety breaches which include the inapropriate use of CS gas. Graham has been apearing in court each month on trial, the police edited cctv footage, lied through their teeth and generally made a mockery of law enforcement. Result, Graham has finally been found not guilty on all charges. I never expected anything else but you just never know how these things will end because of all the corruption within the Police force and the judicial system. The Judge has stated that the Police acted in a very heavy handed manner. So releived this is now all over. Our complaints will now be dealt with and we can relax and get on with things. It has been a very trying year because of all this. Graham lost his job because of the charges, fortunately he got a new job soon after. I am also very angry because its such a waste of the tax payers money. Anyway, its over now and perhaps we can repair our relationship as it has been quite frought because of all the tension.

It trully is. It has been a very tense time coz we havent been able to talk about it to any one. Its also a very very sad indication of how our police force behave. These are the people you are supposed to be able to trust to uphold the law, not break it themselves. |

I'm so pleased it is all over now Elaine ....it must feel like a huge cloud has lifted for you both. Now it's time for you and Graham to put this all behind you and start enjoying life once again ........ well done you for being his rock..  |

That is indeed a worry to read that as I have a kind of faith in the police borne out of the fact that they have never hindered me, infact on the contrary - found them helpful and sympathetic in the extreme. It's disturbing to read that they can act in such an underhand way. However - that notwithstanding, I'm delighted that justice has prevailed and Graham is exonerated. Onwards and upwards and full marks to you Elaine for standing by your man |
