The innocence and earnestness of children at this special time of year is so heart-warming. I used to love seeing the little ones at Nativity plays when my children were young. Thank you for posting these lovely photos. |

Oh Alex don't they look beautiful, I bet it brings a lump to your throat... Takes me back to when my two were small, my daughter was an angel and my son was a king... |

Thank you all, yes Mags, I was sitting there a bit teary lol. They had a brill time Emma. They so enjoyed getting to dress up and act out the roles they have heard so many times. All the old ladies in the church had big smiles on their faces watching them. |

awww lovely pictures. I always loved doing the Nativity play at Christmas time - but always disappointed that I was only ever chosen as a shepherd or a King |

Oh what lovely pics! My little boy's is the week after next and he is a star! I read in the paper that only 1 in 5 schools actually do a Nativity now! And also 1 in 3 youngsters that celebrate Christmas, didn't know where Jesus was born! And we wonder why Christmas is loosing it's magic and become all about commercialisation. |
