Same here Eileen, I love to hear the old traditional Christmas carols being played by the brass bands in town. We used to get quite a few carol singers come to the door at one time but they are few and far between now and when they do sing it is a Christmas pop song .....don't they teach them carols in the schools anymore? |

I dont see any good side to Christmas. The expense, the hassle of busy shops and car parks, all the food shopping, etc. Kids are older now so they more or less know what they are getting so no real excitement. Stupid plastic tree sat in my living room - whose idea was it to have trees indoors when its Christmas - dont get it???!!! glad when its all over to be honest. |
