Morning all Got home safe and sound last night although nightmare journey with thick fog and the M25 Cats were pleased to see us although we did get told off Funny seeing a cat trying to sulk at you while permanently attached and purring like a loon

Up bright and early to try and beat the rush in Tesco to pick up some fresh Veg for dinner tomorrow, yum

Have a great Christmas Eve everyone

Morning Fran, Grete.

I did see on the news about the Fog. Glad you got home safe and sound.

I have so much to do today .

Ceilidh was up till gone 12 last night She's so exited. Maybe she'll pass out early tonight .

I have pressies to wrap, the dinner to start along with cooking today . I've been lazy. I have to pick up and drop off pressies get the Veg in for the next couple of days and tidy the house . Hey I'll do all that before lunch .

Anyway. Have a lovely Christmas eve and of course Christmas day. Your a great bunch. Stay safe and be happy.

Morning all.
I hope the fog has gone as I'm off to Kent soon. Then tomorrow it is Norfolk and the East coast. Boxing day is Eastbourne. We will clock up 664 miles over the next 3 days
I think I'll be glad of a chance to have some "me time" on 27th!

Morning all,

Nothing much to do for me today, so will just be lazing about the house.... kids are turning nocturnal so I wont see them before this afternoon no doubt.

Have a good day all.

Re: Daily Thread / Christmas Eve

Oh for kids that will have a lie-in!! My little early bird woke at 0615 this morning. We didn't get to bed till gone midnight, what with an unscheduled re-watching of Pan's Labyrinth (very disturbing film) and a bit of clearing up.

OH has gone into town quickly this a.m. as his glasses have broken, he's then off up to the office to restart the server which will mean we can continue accessing email remotely (should we wish to). He'll take the boys so I can get clothes packed, house tidied and notes written for neighbour Gail who will be minding the flumps whilst we're away.

Other than that, will be off just after lunch so probably won't see you all until the afternoon of the 27th. Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas

Re: Daily Thread / Christmas Eve

Hi folks!

Have made my last visit to the Sainsbury's for last minute items ....... phew, the crowds were unbelievable!

All their Christmas shelves have been replaced by sale goods ...... a few bargains there too - TV's £150 - £200 off!! What did I come away with, you ask? A pack of 5 tea towels going for £3.99 !!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, try not to over-indulge ...... and stay happy!!
