Hello all. John has gone to work today so i've been tidying up & tinkering about with photos on the pc. I'm off to Dunelm now to check out the sales & try & get a new quilt cover. Then home for lunch & I need to go to work & do 3 home visits at some point. I have a sore eye, which is driving me mad. Otherwise all is well here on this damp, cold day.

Grey day here too but at least it's dry and very mild.

Have just been out to get some fresh bread, we didn't need anything else as we still have mountains of food here due to hubby not eating (or drinking!!) anything over the Christmas period.

I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday period ....... it's back to normal for a bit then start again over New Year!

afternoon all. A bit of a flat feeling in the house today, think it's just the post Christmas blahs lol. Nothing planned at all. I have however made the effort to get dressed today as we all spent yesterday in our jammies lol! Even the cats are all being lazy and not moving from their cat tree! Teddie I am pleased to say ate her Christmas dinner (turkey) with no side effects whatsoever, so different from this time last year when the tiniest piece made her very ill.

Afternoon All.

Didn't have to go to the nurse. Managed to get the bit glass out after washing loads of dishes. It's still thumping though.
I know that flat feeling Alex. I'm also quite tired.
I took Darryle over to Jenny's with his Christmas goodies. He's back with me again tonight.
He's in Ceilidh's room and she is sleeping with me. I think that's why I'm so tired. She moves about a lot during the night.

Well I am home from work again. And not back till Monday. May peruse the sales tomorrow I am thinking of popping into Dunelm Mill too Smudgley for the same reason.
May top up on a little food shopping and then have a trip to the skip tomorrow.

Turkey all gone.

Having a curry tonight. A ready meal one - in the mood to be lazy.

Quiet post-Christmas day here also; sunny and mild, 5 degrees, a bit above normal for this time of the year. No complaints! Did the usual market run and got a nice surprise: had picked up a tin of wasabi and it wasn't pricemarked for the scanner and they couldn't seem to find the code, so .........they gave it to me!! It was almost $5.00! Woo hoo! Leia has not caught the dratted mouse yet...must have a little chat with her!!

Smudgley: hope the eye improves....
Jac: what are we going to do with you....that finger still needs to be looked at after that nasty cut!

i had another trip around the sales today, got a nice bra/sox/top. and a tool set for OH.
got to taske 1 top back to be exchanged.didnt realise it was a 10/12 instead of a 14/16. so yet another walk into town. oh well all good exercise.
