ronnies vet visit

not too good im afraid. hes got to come back in 3 weeks she wants to see if theres any change,if it hasnt improved or has got worse he may have to have his eye removed.
because we rely on the pdsa they havnt got the facilitys to do specialist eye treatments.
but she says its not bothering him, hes eating very well. and no change in his behavior.theres no reason for, well u know.
but it was quite a shock, rons got the hump big time cause he went in the car, was pulled about by a stranger, (he dont do strangers)
hes had a mummy cuddle and ill make some more fuss of him later.
if this is in the wrong section please move it.sorry.
oh and there was an old cat brought in.his mum thinks he had a stroke. bless him poor baby didnt move,

Poor boy!
What is the diagnosis?
Hope it doesn't come to removal but if it does, you know he will be fine, don't you?

Re: ronnies vet visit

Oh dear boys mum - sorry I must have missed your post about ronnie having a problem with his eye. How very worrying for you, but if ronnie does not seem to be troubled by it I'd try not to worry too much. I have a lovely ginger cat called Skittles that visits my garden and he had to have one eye removed - it doesn't seem to have affected him at all! Hugs to you and ronnie (reggie too!)

Sorry boys mum - I didn't immediately connect this latest post with your previous one about the change in ronnie's eye colour. What a good thing that you followed it up.

Cathy - I didn't make the connection either - doh, sorry

I do hope Ronnie's OK and that his eye can be saved. Please give him lots of cuddles from me, and hugs to you - you must be very worried.

Re: ronnies vet visit

Poor Ronnie he hasn't had a very good day has he. At least she hasn't immediately said that he will lose his eye so that has to be a bit positive. I know it will be hard for you but try not too worry too much over the next 3 weeks. Tate has had 2 eye operations for a sequestra on his eye, Persians are prone to eye problems, and still has both his eyes albeit with a bit of scarring on each eye.

Chin up and {{{hugs}}} to both you and Ronnie( better not forget Reggie).
