Believer or non believer Ghosts

Not sure if any of you are belivers in an after life or not and actually considered not posting this at all because it sounds silly to me too now
However a fortnight ago - now note the time scale its took me this long to decide to post, a fortnight ago I went to a physic evening in a hall you know person stands on the stage and calls out "I have Albert here!!!!!!!!!!!!!" well this was kinda similar at a Spirtiualist church but I nor my friends (who wanted to go and dragged me) got spoken too however it was at the end of the "display" for want of a better word you could wander round the church and look at the various things like card, tarot reading crystal thingies. Well I was waiting at the door for my friends, and the chap who was on the stage came over and spoke to me, he said pretty much "Have you ever considered harnessing your ability you are capapble of being a good communicator" "please consider coming to the church and speaking to some of us, no pressure" I laughed and said "No not for me" but as he was turning away he said "Ah I thought so" and then turned to me and smiled saying "Always a good sign that, you should consider it" I said "What's good sign"
"Animal spirits, I saw them earlier cats; one who talks a lot and one who is smaller, there's a dog too, but the two cats are very strong around you" I could have fallen over but for the door jam I was leaning against. Then he turned again and said "Yes 3 dogs, the other two are very much together but the other one is a solo but all three come with the cats" .

Well as you know I have had two cats for a long long, I also had two Staffords in my family home Sam and Gypsy who were PTS aged 16 & 15 and then Gyp a Stafford who passed over before her time at 6 1/2....she was a solo dog who disliked other dogs, and anything on four legs apart from Oscar and Cleo(cats).

So now I am kinda chuffed they are in effect all still with me.

Not sure what you think, but of all the thing he could have said "describing the cats was a masterstroke"

Re: Believer or non believer Ghosts

How strange but interesting Kazz I have never experienced anything like that so I have to reserve my judgement.

It sounds too much of a coincidence for it to not be Oscar and Cleo and your little dog ........ but whatever the truth is behind all this, it is lovely that that 'evening' has convinced you that your dear fur friends are still with you..

It's still nice to wonder if it could be true though

Re: Believer or non believer Ghosts

I suppose you are right Erin, he could have said "an older man/lady" and I expect everyone could relate to that.

He said animals, and he said "one who talks a lot and one who is smaller" now as most cats are similar size you have to wonder....I mean Oscar was noticably bigger than Cleo and he was the talker.....at least to me and Cleo whereas Cleo smaller and not a talker like her brother.
Then to say three dogs one alone two together Sam and Gypsy were never apart (one night) over 15+ years and Gyp was the next dog I got after them, the dogs all knew and loved the cats. But could not see Gyp liking other dogs in her space...how odd.

I'd be pretty convinced by this guy. I pretty much beleive in such things and would have been delighted if some one were to aproach me and say something like that out of the blue. Keep an open mind Kazz, I swear i still feel Winston jump onto the bed beside me sometimes.

Karen, you're SO lucky that this man could see that your pets' aura. Wow - we have a spiritualist church up the road from us and I'm still trying to pluck up the courage to go I have this nagging discomfort that I strongly suspect will be allayed by visiting and that in itself keeps me from going (silly as it sounds).

I've never experienced the supernatural, but if you are not frightened by it or (religiously) offended by it, I would grasp it and see where it takes you, because what this man said goes well beyond coincidence.

That is quite eerie! I would so like to believe it was true; it would be comforting to know that my departed ones were still near me........

Re: Believer or non believer Ghosts

Well, I'll share this with you all but I've never told ANYONE this...... I have never believed in anything like this at all ever! But a few months back on a local radio programme (Kazz it was when DK was on afternoons) he had a lady on who was going to try & contact someone..(Danny the presenter doesn't believe & was basically saying what a load of tosh, but if it realted to anyone they should call in)........... Before she started, I thought to myself, oh I wish she would contact Grandad (sorry, but tears are coming now) I was very close to my Grandad when I was growing up & he thought the world of me. (he said the Americans thought I was so special they would fly the flags on my b'day as my b'day is independance day and I alwasy believed him)........tears are now streaming..... keep listening...........right back to the story. So my Grandad a very special person to me died when I was about 16 (I'm now 34) so I'm thinking "oh please contact Grandad"......................... then the lady starts talking.....

I can see someone, it's a male, very white hair (could be Grandad) in his 60's when he passed.(yep)....he died of cancer.(yep).... he had connections with Burntwood (bloody hell that's where I lived then) I can see the name fred (his name was Fredderick James, but was only ever known as Jim) and I can see a speacial name with a letter J (freaking me out by now) - (could be J for Jim or J for Jean, my mom & his only child) then the weirderst most significant thing of all she said this man has very bushy eyebrows (it was Grandad, I swear it was) she also said he had lived in a flat! I wanted to call the show, but I just couldn't bring myself to, it was freaking me out too much. I thought I'd text them, but I was a bit shocked to be honest......

the strange thing was noone called in to say it was their relative, so Danny was saying it was all rubbish, but noone called in because it wasn't their Grandad - it was mine.

So maybe a coinsidence but look at what she said;
White hair,
60's,
fred,
letter J,
cancer,
Burntwood,
lived in a flat.

All true... I swear I am not exagerating of any of the above.
