Does anyone else??

Get an electric shock of their cat or is it just me???

I occasionally get a shock when I stroke Denis (near his belly). I get shocks of things such as my car door and other people and it may be me not Denis. I was just wondering

Re: Does anyone else??

I felt awful the other day when I gave Merlin a shock - I'd been using the pc and went to stroke him! It's static electricity I think and I must try to remember to "ground" it before touching him. I've done the same to my OH before now.

I have a faux fur throw on my soffa for the dog and that generates lots of shocks.

Re: Does anyone else??

It is static electricity; happens all the time to me in the Winter with the dry indoor air and central heating! I hate it, so does Leia!
