Frogs

I have just been reading a dog forum where they were complaining about the number of frogs their cats are bringing in at the moment. I am having the same problem. Is it because frogs are about to spawn that there are so many about? Why is it that cats don't feel the need to kill frogs (the ones mine bring in are always alive and in one piece!) but poor little mice are not so lucky?

Re: Frogs

Maybe frogs don't taste as nice as mice? My Siamese caught and ate a small one once.....

Re: Frogs

My boys will chase baby frogs and bop them, but never kill them, we get them in the garden every year at this time..When we had a pond, Merlin used to sit at the side and everytime a frog put its head up, he would bop it!

Re: Frogs

Frogs play possum, basically when caught they actually look dead so the cat looses interest and when the coast is clear they hop off.. Yes Angie the noise they make is horrendous isn't it
