Daily Thread / Sunday

Morning all, the sun is shining brightly here this morning. Hope you have all remembered to put your clocks forward an hour? Tom has a friend coming to stay tonight. Em is still at my sisters. Have to go up to the horses shortly, then I want to nip to the supermarket. Will be having the usual Sunday roast later

Mags - Bon voyage! Don't foget the piccies

Have a relaxing day all!

Re: Daily Thread / Sunday

Morning everyone, it's a beautiful sunny day here..

It's very strange here without Cassie rubbing round my legs or jumping up onto my lap ......... no doubt she will receiving a lot of attention where she is though..

Well... the packing is done and the cases are locked, just have to phone our SIL to confirm he is still ok to pick us up at 2.15am to take us to the Bus Station. Normally we would have booked a taxi but he insisted on taking us..

Thanks Fran and everyone else for your good wishes..

Enjoy your day!

Enjoy your hols Mags - Egpyt and the Nile as just wonderful (take lots of immodium with you though ).

Speaking of which, I was taken with sickness and the runs last night. Unsure whether it was viral or something I ate but was very unwell most of the night.

Am feeling better this morning but a bit weak and wobbly. OH has taken the boys to the supermarket. I'm going to wash the cats' eyes and brush them and then jump in the shower. Hopefully I'll be able to face the roast dinner later on today as I'm really hungry!

Beuatiful day here too today and I love it when it's like this it makes me so motivated ans I get lots done.

Merseyside derby today and OH is apprehensive about a win. So bit strained here this morning but he has gone now and I have the house to myself. Just enjoying a lager & lime, (bit early I know but I don't care).

Have a good holiday Mags.

Hope your feeling better soon Yola

Re: Daily Thread / Sunday

Just booked our holiday on-line! I'm so excited, a week in New York in May! Also means we can fit it in before little one is ready to come home-don't want to have to leave her. Lovely day, I've managed to fix our washing line (something I've been asking OH to do for two months!) so I've been able to lots of laundry which is all drying outside.
Got to make some posters for my home-less bunnies then cooking a roast for later.
Feel better soon Yola

Afternoon all! Sunny but windy and quite chilly - 3 degrees - Spring is late this year, Winter is hanging in there. Popped into the market and am planning the usual lazy Sunday afternoon with the papers and crossword.

Pinklizzy: May in New York should be good weather for you!!
Mags: hope the holiday is lovely....
Yola: are you feeling better now, I hope?

Enjoy the extra evening light....
