Leia, regretfully, is not a talky cat, I miss that! She is not very subtle about letting you know when she's hungry...she'll jump on the counter and knock the metal canister of dry food on the floor with a loud clang! And when she's on the porch and wants in, she knocks on the storm door! Loudly, like a person knocking..... |

Denis is a real talker. He has a range of cries, there is his quiet mew and he puffs his cheeks out and leaves his mouth open when he wants to go out but doesn't really need to. There's his special call to me when he is in danger which is a high pitch screech. There is his cry when he comes in demanding a cuddle... which is a toddler cry while he looks back over his shoulder waiting.... There is his morning I want to go out cry, followed swiftly by diving under the covers and biting your feet. Then there is the stand on a table, dresser, the telly etc (in eye line) and knock things off one by one until you give me what I want. God I'm shattered now |
