Re: Daily Thread/Sunday

It's snowing here in Hampshire too!

We don't normally get much as we live in a protected little pocket, but today the "North Wind doth blow!" Poor Robin has plenty of food in the feeders so he and his feathered friends will be OK. It all started just about 3/4 hour ago. There's more snow now than I've seen in about 3 years over 4 cm!

It's so pretty but I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere. Looks like the cats will be using their litter tray today rather than the garden, they stuck their heads out of the cat-flap and didn't much like what they saw!

Morning all,

Started snowing here just before 7am, it is slowly clearing but it is snowing very lightly.

Nothing planned for today, I can feel an ache in my legs after using the exercise DVD!!!!

Snowed here too heavy for B'ham it settled too not on the roads but there were gritters out yeterday. The sun is out but its still slowly drifting down but not sticking.

Have a good day all glad I did the front garden and got it tidy and weeded.

Morning all, we have had a slight fall of snow, but now its very windy and cold...Looks like England is getting the worst....
Got the Airport run today and a mountain of washing to do...other than that nothing really...
Have a good day, and stay warm...

Certainly sounds like the snow is worse down south. Snow is forecast for much of the week, I think.
Hope Jac has a safe journey upto Aberdeen. Just waiting for her to call.

Well, they certainly got the forecast right this morning!

It's thawing quite fast now. I am still really worried about my lovely little maple tree as the tender young leaves are just emerging and the tree is just too big for me to cover up.

Snowed here too, but all gone now (sob sob). Must admit I nearly passed out when I saw it this morning. Usually when they say snow, we never get any so when Hayley started running about the house shouting 'snow, snow' I was extremely surprised lol.
Lovely pics of it all angie!
