Jules, here's a helpful link that will explain torties, The genetic bit is slightly complicated but all in all it's very informative. It's hard to tell from the pic, but the kits seem to have tabby markings, so it's possible they may be torbies: tabby markings on face, chest, legs, tail, but a tortie coat.
