I suspect she might tolerate a kitten, especially a little boy, better than she did poor Onyx! Yes, I love BM's expression "kitten broody", and now that kitten season is in full swing here I am getting a bad case of it.... |

I wouldn't let people come and view the kittens for at least 3/4 weeks - you need to give them time to build up some immunity. They should be able to go to their new homes and be fully weaned at 8 weeks old. |

Agree with Charliebubs. I'd let them get to four weeks before you let new germs in. ![]() Not so sure about the eight weeks. Definitely not before then! Rover was twelve weeks and had had both his innoculations before I was allowed to pick him up, and the arguments I have heard for that made sense to me. I'd suggest reading up on the net, sorting by common sense and coming to your own conclusion. Would probably depend on the home they were going to as well (experience, distance etc. I know you will only pick good homes for them. ![]() |

![]() However - this is a litter of moggies and in my experience they won't be vaccinated before they go to their new homes - so I was saying 8 weeks on the basis of that - and then they are old enough to be taken for their first vaccination by their new owners. |
