Afternoon Fran! Afternoon everyone - where is everybody?

It has just got really dark here, black over the back of Bill's mother's and I'm sure it's going to bucket down in a minute! Oh yes, here it comes - glad OH and MIL have just got in from the garden.

See you all at the quiz tonight.

Re: Daily Thread / Saturday

good afternoon. ive been busy today, sorting through all the photos, its my daughters 21st soon. and i want to find all the piccys of her when she was a baby. got quite a few embarrassing ones. OH is going to enlarge them, ive borrowed a laminater, use them as place mats LOL plus put a few up on the wall. shes going to go nuts LOL
also want one to put in the local paper, nice piccy of her when she was a baby, with a look whos 21 on it. got a great one of her when she was about 3 as the mascot for majorettes LOL
oh revenge is great, serves her right for waking me up when she was a baby.
have a good day all.

Re: Daily Thread / Saturday

Just been for lunch into town. There was an Italian market on by the river so we bought lots of delicious cheese to scoff infront of a DVD tonight. Bang goes the diet! I'm seriously getting too fat but just haven't got the time for exercise!

Might have to go to Devon tomorrow as my poor old Aunt - the one who's in residential care, fell yesterday and broker her hip. She's in Torbay General undergoing surgery right now. Depending on how well she is recovering we'll go down tomorrow.

Oh Yola, sorry to hear about your aunt!

Mild spell continues: 19 degrees. One of those changeable April days...sunny, it clouds over and a brief hard shower, then sun again. A heavy downpour last night with high winds, many trees down, but none in my neighborhood, glad to say.,..No library today; have enough books to last the coming week. Out to the garden to pull more weeds and admire the 4 healthy looking roses I put in yesterday....picked some catnip leaves for Leia..

BM: ooh, you are an evil woman, your poor daughter! But it is funny ....

Hope to see you at the quiz tonight; enjoy the day!

Yola - Hope your aunt's operation goes well, what a nasty thing to have happened.

I think I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I'm hoping to get a puppy later on this year, the breeder contacted me today to say that her girl is now in season, I'm so excited! I've never been a very patient person so the time is really going to drag until my little man/girlie comes home.

Re: Daily Thread / Saturday

Angie hope the rain has stopped now its a lovely evening here like a Summer evening.

BM - you should be careful you know he could be in charge of choosing your "retirement home" seriously sure she'll tkae it in good heart, have you considered getting a big poster of her done and putting it in a position like end of the road

Yola you are far from fat...hope you ejoy the cheese, and sounds liek a lovely day had by all. Hope your aunt is fine, its upsetting when they get older and you are a distance away isn't it.

Dm Sound like a lovey day too, don't do to much weeding. Hope Leia enjoys her "fix"

Mrs H....what breed are you getting? how did I miss this information *makes mental note to pay more attention*
I think its lovely to have no preconceived ideas of dog or bitch but the pup the take your fancy. The time will fly, although flying very slowly.

See you all at the quiz later I hope don't expect to much I am a novice at quiz mastering.... ...seriously.

Its a lovely evening here almost a Summer one.
