Tuesday Thread

Can't believe I'm starting this again! Everyone very busy?

A beautiful sunny day, cloudless skies but a bit cooler than normal, only nine now. But supposed to be lovely and warm by the weekend. Traffic is still awful because of the Papal visit; waited almost 1/2 hour for the bus, which usually runs every 10 minutes....oh joy... Same old same old here, the market; nothing special for the afternoon.

Hope all are well ......

Re: Tuesday Thread

Hi Eileen - I'm here, even though it is actually 16.41 here in U.K. and your post above was timed here at 04.31 and you say it's 9.00 where you are! I know that time differs all around the world, but I still can't get used to the fact that the Internet seems to smooth the time wrinkles out for the person reading. That's gobbledegook and makes no sense to anyone but me I bet!

Anyway, sorry about your bus being so delayed, good that you (and Il Papa) have good weather! Nice here too - blue sky, warm and sunny.

Been sorting out paperwork again today - don't know where it comes from but know where it's going (most of it) recycling bin collection tomorrow!

Oops, I meant 9 degrees! It was 11:31 am here...almost lunch time, and that's where I'm heading now...tummy rumbling!

Re: Tuesday Thread

I'm here too, sneaking a quick read now and again. Since I got my super new steam iron last week I've been having a bit of a laundry-fest, but I think I've run out of things to wash and iron! (I know, I need to start taking the sensible tablets!) Hate to say it, but I've also been turning out the wardrobes, shampooing carpets, cleaning windows and catching up with the mending. I think I'm a hopeless case!

The cats keep giving me their "Good heavens woman, I'm trying to sleep" looks!

ooooh the excitement. I got a new vacuum cleaner today lol! Not that I use it, it's for OH hee hee. The old one went boom the other day, smoke coming out of it and everything, so ordered a new one from the catalogue and it came today.

It was this one here, now nicknamed 'spotty'

Re: Tuesday Thread

Moli that's great that you got to meet the girls

It's been busy here, full stop. Had a client in, working on office stuff and the CP stuff.

Now home duties beckon. Might try and get on later, but seem to have no time to myself these days

Re: Tuesday Thread

Moli you mean that you survived - -

I have been assembling a display cabinet today....not easy as it was glass.....and needed to be careful.

Finshed the garden fance though first thing before the rain came down then moved inside to build the unit.

Just had dinner. Now consdering working out what sort of desk layout I would like for the spare/little bedrom think I know. Would like it to have an "officiefied" sort of look. Wih desk space etc etc.

However my windscreen wipers have packed in n idea why changed the fuse nothing maybe a motor thingy...any clues/ideas?
