New cat breed - RagaMuffin.....I was reading yesterday about this new breed derived from Ragdolls. It's not yet hit the UK and isn't recognised as a breed over here yet, but they seem to be up and coming in the USA. http://www.moggies.co.uk/breeds/ragamuffin_cat.html http://www.cfa.org/breeds/profiles/ragamuffin.html http://www.pictures-of-cats.org/ragamuffin-cat.html They come in lots more colours that the Ragdolls and look a bit Maine-Coon-like in some of the pics. What do you think??? ![]()

Take your point Eileen - but it's a bit like designer labels don't you think? Some people can't help wanting something new, with a fancy name and a big pricetag! Having said that - do you remember that thread we had about different breeds of cat? Elaine's Eva looks just like a Ragamuffin. |

And I take your point too; has to be the latest and trendiest! I remember that thread very well as it was the first time I had heard of the RagaMuffin! We joked that Eva had insisted all along that she was a pedigree, and now we could see it...I do love Eva! |

I agree ladies that there is really no need for another breed. I'm not all that keen on these ones either - but at least they aren't bred to an extreme of something. |
