Re: Saturday thread

It is very windy and cold here today.

We are having a ceiling fitted in the extension today, which I am very excited about as the plasterer can come next week then and we will get the kitchen fitted, which is in the garage at the moment.

I have an essay to finish this weekend and I am so not in the mood!!!
Anyway, thinking of you today DM.

Have a good day all

Re: Saturday thread

Thanks Kazz.

Yes the ceiling has taken so long to get to this point. We have had to insulate it and get it passed by the building inspectors. long long process. But we are finally getting there and I can't wait for my kitchen to go in

Re: Saturday thread

It's been a cold, wet and miserable morning here...... what has happened to all the Spring sunshine?

Not a lot planned for today, a bit of tidying here and there.......putting the sun tops away and getting the woollies back out!

Enjoy your day everyone!

Re: Saturday thread

Not much happening here, the weather's pretty horrible and the cats are not happy about going out into the garden for "nature's necessities" so they heve dashed out, dashed back and rubbed their wet fur over my slippers!

This is the last day of the school's holidays, so back to work on Monday. Farewell Domestic Goddess, the laundry will start building up again from now on!

Re: Saturday thread

Hello everyone! Nasty grey cold and rainy here today!

Had to pop out to our local farmshop for some veg and our local butcher for a chicken for tomorrow and some haddock for supper tonight - kedgeree, which I am fond of (or is it of which I am fond!?) Anyway, got a bit wet!!!

Merlin had 4 breakfasts this morning - enough for 2 hobbits!

Looking forward to tonight's quiz.

Angie, that reminds me of Churchill's gibe about ending sentences: "That is the sort of nonsense up with which I will not put!"

I have always loved that...

Great that Merlin's eating so well! A lovely sunny Spring day here, 23 degrees before lunch, but alas, all goes downhill tomorrow: 20 degrees cooler with an all day drenching rain... Did my usual library and liquor store run, plan to just sit out in the garden and enjoy the weather till it's time for the quiz tonight!

Have a lovely day, all!
