Daily Thread / ThursdayMorning all, lovely sunny day here! Hoping that this weather continues so that the horses can go out next week to grass for the summer , no more mucking out stables for a while! Not much planned except nipping to the bank and the usual household chores  Have a great day

Oh nasty showers here again, never mind, off work today and retail therapy awaits  Tom's school is closed for Polling Day so we have charge of him this morning. He'll sit it out in a cafe with Grandad whlie I hit the shops. Give him his Game Boy and he's happy! Have a good day everybody, Nette. |

Hello peeps! Blue sky this morning, hooray! but windy and keeps clouding over, boo! Off to the garden centre in a tick - going to have a look at the plants, might just have to tempt myself! and to get a liner for a hanging basket in which to plant Eileen's catnip seeds that she kindly sent her furry friend Merlin all the way from USA. Merlin keeps looking at me and saying "When are you going to plant those seeds for me Mum?" Good idea the hanging basket Eileen - keep it well out of the way of the cats, mine and next door's, and help them get established! OH is off playing golf today, not his usual day as his normal golf buddy is on holiday. So he's gone with a friend who is a much better player than he is - the whole 18 holes and I BET he'll be in pain tomorrow! Have a great day everyone - so glad those little goats are better and have gone home pinklizzy! |

So busy again today  ! It's my brother's birthday so we took him for a quick bevvy at the local pub. He's still down there with the rest of the guys and gals from the office.I've had to ask both the Nursery and the School to keep the boys for an extra hour tonight as I've so much to get through, so my visit here is brief today! Weather a mix of sunshine and showers so nothing new there |

Hi, all! Started out sunny and nice, so I planted the tomatoes outside finally; now it's clouded over and looks very much as if it will rain...ah well... Had something odd happen yesterday: went out to fill the bird feeder as usual (I only put a days worth of food at a time as otherwise they gorge themselves and a 5 pound bag vanishes unbelievably fast). and was astonished to see that someone had completely filled the feeder up!??!! I have no idea who it could have been; asked Chris next door, and it wasn't him, his Dad or Carlos the handyman..... strange; nice, but strange .....The new slipcovers I ordered came, so that's on the agenda for the afternoon; the wretched things are hard to put on, but look so nice and fresh when they're finally done!! Hope you all have a nice day!! |

Addendum to post above - OH has come back absolutely shattered. Don't have to wait for him to be in pain until tomorrow - he says he doesn't know how he managed the last 2 holes. So he's sitting down in the lounge watching the golf on TV!!!!! I am trying not to laugh!  Is that really heartless of me????? |
