Injections/Flea Treatments

I have booked the little ones in for there first injections on the 2nd of June. I have being pondering at what the receptionist said "Is it just the normal ones" what i took for meaning cheapest. What is the normal for injections now is there something else they can have as well. They will never go in a cattery but because we are a multi cat house hold should i get them all. I also dont care if it costs more as well.
What age can i frontine them. When i first frontlined Kado he was 12wks with the spot on or will it be the spray. The vet nurse said you get something in the kitten pack but i thought they would be too you.
