Daily thread ~ TuesdayA grey start here this morning, extremely wet underfoot, not very promising. I'm up early today for a 12 hour on-call shift and some community visits. Spoke to my sis in California last night, she was having quite a cold day too, only 68F at 9:30 am  She and the kids are coming home 12/6 for 5 weeks, it'll be lovely to see them again. They grow up too quickly.OH is still suffering from the virus he collected at the airport. Over a week now since we got back and he's still got a hacking cough, a trip to the doc needed I think. See you all later, have a good day, hope weather improves wherever you are!

 Dry here, looks like the sun will come out too.....Hoping to get into the garden for a while...and must make friends with the iron sometime!!! Have a good day everyone... |

Overcast and cold at the moment with sunny intervals this afternoon.....hopefully.  Will be going into the garden later for a slug and snail hunt after all the rain we've had! |

Hi everyone! Thanks for making me smile with the cat greeting, Moli!! Very overcast here today - looks as if it may rain again. Evidently, according to local TV news there were 48 weather related calls to the emergency services in Chichester yesterday. That's only a few miles away from where I live! Southampton Railway Station was flooded out too. It did pour here for a bit, but we escaped lightly I think. Poor foxgloves didn't though. Hope you have good news at the GP PL! Have a good day all. |

Gloomy here too, but mild 22 degrees. Light rain predicted for the afternoon; we could use a bit. Drivers here are so used to cheap gas that there is a great uproar at the increasing prices: I noted this morning that it was up to $4.05 a gallon for regular at the station by my bus stop. That probably doesn't sound so bad to you all; I understand prices are much higher across the pond! Nothing going on with me; did the market run and messed about in the garden,,,,,beans not up yet!! Moli: love the greeting! Angie: shame about the foxgloves.. Hope all have inproving weather and a nice day ...... |
