Morning! Fairly humid here, not really sunny though. Hoping it will stay dry for a while-I've got lots of laundry to go out this morning! Not much planned, lots of housework I want to get done as I'm hoping to be able to go back to work next week. And of course I'll be fitting in some knitting for Angie and Eileen ( I've now got the right colour wool!) Have a good day all. |

Afternoon all! It's grey and overcast here but warm, so I took Posh and Bron out into the small garden in front of the house to have some air. Then spots of rain came so back inside again. Good luck knitting PL, I'm doing the laundry today too. Making the most of the heat to dry indoors in the glasshouse I jokingly call a conservatory ! |

Afternoon, people! Cloudy and mild, 25 degrees, but humid. We had the grandmother of all rainstorms yesterday afternoon...like a monsoon, but thankfully brief...got 1.45" of rain. but were spared the large hailstones that were in the area! This is now the second wettest May since records have been kept: total of 10.66" . And last May the drought had just started .... No damage in the garden; everything looking fine. including the beans which are all up now about 4"...my how they grow! Got goodies at the market including my fresh peas, and a lovely crab cake to broil for dinner tonight. PL: I've not told Leia about the surprise that will be coming! Thank you so much!! Wishing good weather and a pleasant day to all...... |
