My Cat. Forgetful or terribly clever???

My 4 year old cat woke me this morning at 7am by meowing, purring, trilling, nipping, kissing, poking, and clawing at me until I finally obliged her by getting out of the bed to find out what she wanted. By the time I got across the room and put my dressing gown on and turned around, she had crawled into the bed, under the duvet, and fallen asleep in the spot I had just vacated!

So, my question is;

When she went to so much trouble to get me out of bed, did she really have something desperately urgent that she wanted to tell or show me.....and then FORGOT when she discovered the warm spot in the bed? Or was it all a very CLEVER ploy to get me out of the warm spot that she had decided she wanted?

And I got a picture!

And to all those who would wonder......I did let her remain in said warm spot, and she stayed there till nearly noon!

Funny cat! LOL!

What a great picture and you have a very cunning clever cat! My 2 year old son does exactly the same, gets me out of bed in the morning and then climbs in the warm spot!! Cats, kids who'd have em! Who am I kidding, couldn't live without either of them!

Is she a tortie, looks like it in that cute pic? Torties are naughty and very very clever! I'm convinced the whole thing was a skillful ploy to get the warm spot.....

Thanks for the replies! I have to admit that I do also feel that it was a very clever ploy! And she does KNOW that she has me wrapped around her furry little paw!!!

Yes, Dandysmom, she is indeed a lovely tortie!
